It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear. She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair And then she asks me, "Do I look all alright?" And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight." We go to a party and everyone turns to see this beautiful lady that's walking around with me. And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?" And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight." I feel wonderful because I see the love light in your eyes And the wonder of it all is that you just don't realise how much I love you. It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head, So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed. And then I tell her, as I turn out the lights, I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight. Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."

MY AUNT TANIA
My aunt Tania is an example for me to follow.I think she hasn´t had an easy life but she was able to
overcome any obstacles.
Tania used to be an excellent student, and when she finished Bachillerato, she decided she wanted to
be a biologist but that wasn´t easy for her, because Tania is my second oldest aunt and she has got
five younger brothers. My grandparents couldn´t afford to pay for her career expenses, but Tania loved
studying and she didn´t give up so she started to work at the same time that she studied. She worked
in a restaurant and this job didn´t fit well with her school timetable.Because of that ,she often had to
study at night. However, She finished her career with very good marks.
Currently, she is a biology teacher and she has just had two beautiful twins.

MY GRANDMOTHER
I admire my grandmother because she is a great person.
When she was 20 years old,my grandfather and she moved to Vimianzo, where my mother and
my uncles were raised in a modest rented house. She worked all day cleaning houses, and she also
owned a small kiosk near the school where she used to sell snacks and sweets during break time.
When she earned enough money, she bought a new house and opened a grocery store.
Currently, my grandmother doesn´t work as much as she used to, but she still lives with the same enthusiasm
as before. She cooks for eight people in the house every day and looks after my cousins and grows potatoes and
vegetables in the garden next to the house.
My grandmother told me a lot of stories about her life and although her life has been really hard, she still
goes on;she has never given up and this is what makes me admire her.

MY MATERNAL GRANDFATHER
His name is Emilio and he´s 74 years old.My grandfather has got green eyes, his hair is more
white than black, and he is 1.90 metres tall.He is very affectionate and tries to help with
everything he can.
My grandfather has been in a wheelchair since 1984.I admire him because he did many things
despite being disabled. When my brother and I were little,he took care of us,taught us to add
and subtract, looked after animals , cooked etc.
He has got everything he needs to be comfortable in his bedroom.
Currently, my grandfather is weaker and he does activities which require minimal effort
so the family helps him. He has never lost his smile and always goes for a walk in his wheelchair
to talk with his neighbours, and I usually go with him.
For all these reasons ,I think that I don´t admire him ,I love him!

DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES BETWEEN CHIMPANZEES AND HUMAN BEINGS
Differences between human beings and chimpanzees have been researched for lots of years.
Scientists as Jane Goodall or Harris Harvin have discovered many similarities between these
two species that are much alike.
Jane Goodall found out that chimpanzees can make tools. They can use sticks and excavation tools to excavate ants´nests. They are also omnivores, like us.Moreover, chimpanzees cooperate among them and have their own simple language and culture. They also use gestures such as kissing ,embracing and other kinds of simple things that are very similar to a baby´s behaviour.
On the other hand there are some differences, for example chimps don´t have the capacity to remember in a long term;while humans can remember 5 stories, chimpanzees can only hold 3 words in mind.Secondly, human beings can reason whereas chimps only understand physical actions.
Thirdly, humans can plan their future while chimps can´t:They save food but they can plan their lives.
Finally,it´s obvious that there is a close relationship between these two species because both are primates

Away above the chimney tops

WILDLIFE ENVIRONMENT NATUREPeople know that the greenhouse effect is heating up the planet and terrible things are going to happen as a consequence, but they do not want to give up driving cars, because driving is convenient. However, the ultimate effect of spewing noxious gases into the atmosphere is like sitting in a closed garage with the car engine running , asphyxiating from toxic air. We are polluting and poisoning the planet as well as ourselves
James Lovelock

SONGS
Wonderful tonight , Eric Clapton
WONDERFUL TONIGHT BY ERIC CLAPTON
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair
And then she asks me, "Do I look all alright?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
We go to a party and everyone turns to see
this beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."
I feel wonderful because I see
the love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
is that you just don't realise
how much I love you.
It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the lights, I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight. Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."
MARABILLOSA ESTA NOITE
Está oscurendo; ela preguntase que roupa vai poñer,maquillase e peitea o seu longo cabelo loiro
E despois preguntame :" Que tal estou?"
E eu contestolle: "Estás marabillosa esta enoite!"
Imos a unha festa e todos se volven ppara ollar
esta fermosa muller que camiña ao meu lado
e logo ela preguntame:" Sinteste ben ?"

THE PERSON I ADMIRE THE MOST
MICHAEL JACKSON
One of the people that I look up to is Michael Jackson. He was an artist with much reputation. He was
called the King of Pop.
I think Michael Jackson had bodily-kinesthetic intelligence and musical intelligence because he was
the best pop dancer and singer of all time.I believe he´s more famous now than when he was alive.
Lots of his songs are known all over the world.
I can´t give up practising his dance moves because his steps are really incredible. His greatest dance
move is called moonwalk.
His name is going to be remembered for years and years.

Lucía Iglesias

The power of genes
We are all different.
Both genetics and environment( family, friends, school, life experiences...) have a great influence on an individual. However, cases of identical twins prove that genes have a bigger influence than environment.
All behaviour is influenced by our genes
No behaviour is determined by our genes
